Mini Series Part 1:
General Review
Storyline: 4/5
First of all I must say that I am a long time Harvest Moon Addict. If I could spend as much time actually working as I have on farming chores, well lets just say I would have a much nicer apartment. When I found out about this game 2 weeks before it was released I was startled by the fact that I didn’t know about it sooner.
If your new to the Harvest Moon series it is a long running series that has been serving an ever increasing niche fan base since its first release on Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Based around owning and running a farm this game may not seem like fun to many, but if you actually try it chances are you will understand why it’s one of the longest running game series around.
I reserved my copy the week before release and even skipped class to wait for my copy to come. Unfortunately for me EBGames didn’t call when it arrived, as they have for EVERY OTHER game I have reserved, but oh well. I managed to crash my bike halfway home as I peddled along the trail, I love being a student.
Anyway, it’s been about 2 weeks since I started playing and I have decided to do a mini series guide/ tips and tricks for this game, as I am absolutely delighted by this title. This part 1 is just a general review to let you know what its all about.
The story line is once again about restoring the land and reviving the town. You must restore 5 bells to there frame and ring them with the help of the Harvest Sprites and the Harvest Goddess. I am currently only at the fifth bell and don’t want to ruin the story line for myself yet. I will say that I am positive there is a second part that requires the regrowth of the withered Tree of Goddess Tree that the Harvest Goddess stands before. I am a little confused why I am hear as the intro just shows you pulling up in a wagon and getting slapped with a bill for $5000?
The next part will include new features and a graphic review. If you’re desperate for more be sure to check out check out Freyashawk’s guide online at http://harvestmoonforever.blogspot.com/ or the Official Strategy Guide over at Amazon!

A Christmas Carole (3D)I was apprehensive when I first heard Disney was doing a remake of a remake of a book, in 3D. That all changed after I saw the first trailer…..
First of all due, to the way it was animated, it allowed Jim Carrey to play multiple parts, staring as Scrouge and all of the ghosts. After seeing this film I am convinced that Jim Carrey is no longer the Grinch, even though he suited the role so well. The animation was just amazing. I was worried that Disney may abuse the 3D gimmick to death, but they made a classic tale into a thrilling 3D experience. Though I would warn viewers that if you are sitting up close, as you should be for a full 3D experience, that you may get a tough of vertigo during a few scenes.

This movie really brought to life one of my favourite Christmas stories. There are parts to make you laugh and some that make you jump, all the while holding true to Dickens classic tale of the spirit of Christmas. I loved this movie from beginning to end; I highly recommend it to all, young and old to help get you in the Christmas spirit!
